About the GPD Foundation

What is the GPD Foundation? The Gastroparesis and Dysmotility Foundation (GPD Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization dedicated to facilitating innovative research.  The organization works to involve the patient population in our goal to improve medications and treatments, increase public awareness, and enhance patient quality of life.  Patient input is essential to creating urgency in the research world.  Patient involvement is the key to our success.  Together we can make a difference.

What does the GPD Foundation do? The GPD Foundation is an organization working to raise funds for gastroparesis/dysmotility research.  Guided by our outstanding Scientific Advisory board the organization will look to all areas of the medical community that can offer treatments or a cure for the millions of suffering patients.  GPD Foundation will explore a vast variety of options including, but not limited to, research of upcoming medications, medical devices, nutritional strategies and holistic/natural medicinal remedies.  Any and all suggestions given to the GPD Foundation will be considered and reviewed by the Scientific Advisory Board to determine the most deserving recipients of funding.

The GPD Foundation wants you to become a more active participant in your health and future.  We offer various ways for you to become more informed about gastroparesis and dysmotility.  The GPD Foundation also provides opportunities for you, your family, friends, and community to become involved in our fight for better treatments and ultimately a cure.
