Take Action

The GPD Foundation’s vision for success is to create a community of patients, family, and friends with a common goal.  Each using their own talents, passion, and energy to create public awareness, educate our legislators, and push for innovative research to help our cause.  There are fundraisers, public awareness ideas, and patient advocacy opportunities for everyone.

We invite you to join us in taking action,
as well as encourage you to bring your creativity to the cause. → → →

Current Challenge – Be A WINNER!

Your challenge is to talk with all your contacts (friends, family and business associates) Global Email Compaignand sign them up on our GPD e-mail list.

This e-mail list will be used exclusively by the GPD Foundation to keep patients,  family and friends informed about gastroparesis and dysmotility news. GPD Foundation considers this information highly confidential and will not share it with any other organization or company.

Enter your information on the right side of this page and then put your e-mail list in the “Your Message” box.  The three people who sign up the most e-mail contacts will win Crystal’s Saltrelli’s new book with guidelines, tips and recipes for Gastroparesis!

Helpful steps for meeting this challenge:

1. You have a very important network – people who care about you. You need to engage them in this crucial fight.

2. Create your story. This can be as detailed as you feel comfortable, but it does need to be personal, to touch people in a way that they want to help. It can be something as simple as “I have not been able to eat at a restaurant in # of years, cannot eat food without getting sick…… (your story).”

3. Explain that GPD is working to create a global connection. The more people participating, the louder our voice – the more that will be done to help patients like yourself. We do believe that the “squeaky wheel” gets the attention. Currently, few people know about this disease. We intend, with your help, to make Gastroparesis and Dysmotility recognized and at the forefront of innovative research
